Why You Should Use Funky Head Hair Paste!

Looking to switch up your hair styling game? Whether you’ve got a low taper fade, a skin fade or mullet hair...

We’ve got a professional hair paste for you.

Funky Head is our matte-forming paste that will help you work wonders with your desired look.

Don’t Just Take Our Word For It!

We could tell you all the product's benefits ourselves…but we’d rather let our friend and barber ambassador, Simon Ghost, tell you more. Watch the video below for more information on this hair paste.

Here, we can see that Simon has just finished another high-quality taper fade haircut. He likes to put paste in wet hair and then dry it with a diffuser or regular attachment to add volume.

Wet and Dry Versatility

When browsing hair brands and even salon hair products, products often need to be versatile in their offerings to the consumer. Funky Head is just that, as it can be used on both wet and dry hair to obtain straight and curly styles.

If you put it in wet hair and then dry it, you will create texture, whereas application to dry hair will offer a prompt styling routine. If you don’t have time to apply it to wet hair but still want additional texture, you can add a good sea salt spray to your hair, like Bull Blaster, just before the Funky Head.

Can I Use it With Other Crazy Bull products?!

You must certainly can! Check out here how our brand ambassador and favourite drummer, Fiorenza Coccozza, uses Funky Head to start her hair styling routine and some of our other best styling products.

To complete her look, she works Funky Head alongside our other products, such as Bull Blaster pomade and Space Dust texture powder.

Did you know that you can use Funky Head as a Curling Cream?

Yes! It might not be common knowledge, but you can use Funky Head as a curl cream or a curling cream, whatever you want to call it. We wrote a blog post explaining how to add curls to medium length hair or a mullet hairstyle. Just follow the instructions in the post.

Washing Funky Head Out

Nothing is worse than waking up with an encrusted head of hair that doesn’t easily wash out. Unfortunately, there are far too many low-quality products in the market (especially cheap variations of texturing powder) which sit in the hair and are nearly impossible to wash out.

That’s not the case with Funky Head or any of our products, they are all water based, meaning that they will wash out easily with reputable haircare products. Why not try our own Crazy Bull shampoos?

FAQs

What is the difference between hair paste and hair gel?

Hair paste and hair gel may have similar qualities, but you can usually tell the difference between the two from their aesthetics. Gels tend to be transparent or translucent hair styling products, whereas conventional pastes will be opaque.

What is the difference between hair paste and hair pomade?

Pomade pomade! It's a hair-styling buzzword right now. Pomade is often oily and explicitly used for wet-look styles.

We, however, have a vegan water-based pomade hair product, which gives you all the benefits of those classic slick looks with a modern twist. Read all about our pomade.

I typically prefer matte hair clay. Will Funky Head do the same thing?

It depends on what you’re using the clay for! If you’re trying to define your traditional mullet or taper fade with a little product, then you can definitely replace the clay with Funky Head. Why not read more about our hair styling clay, Clay Play?

I have very fine and thin hair, is Funky Head still for me?

Typically if you have finer hair, you will want to use a hair styling powder over a wet product. While not always true, wet products can make finer hair look untidy, messy or even greasy. As texturising powder products are dry, we recommend using a hair powder product like Space Dust to help with your hair styling process.
