Space Dust is an excellent product for its versatility and usability by almost any user, irrespective of their hair type or intended hair styles. People with thinner hair can use the product for an instant volume boost as it will sit between the hairs, partially spacing them out. Those with thicker hair types can still use Space Dust if they simply want to add texture or a subtle matte finish.

Achievable Styles with Space Dust Hair Powder
So, what styles can you realistically achieve with Space Dust? It is a dry product, so it won’t give you the firmest hold, especially if you have thicker hair. However, it will add texture to quiffs, French crops, and even a modern mullet. It may hold a combover in place if you have particularly fine hair.
What is in Space Dust?
Well, the main ingredient is water, or, as it's called in scientific terms, aqua. Almost all of our products are water-based and vegan-friendly. This formulation gives us many benefits over some of our competitors, who still use nasty ingredients that shouldn’t go anywhere near your hair.

Sounds Great! Is It Easy to Apply?!
Space Dust is incredibly user-friendly. You only need to raise the Space Dust bottle above your head and sprinkle the hair powder onto the roots of your hair and everywhere in between. Rustle it around and style it as desired. Applying it straight to your hair is recommended, but if you want greater precision, apply it to your hands and then work it in manually. You can even use the Crazy Bull-branded comb for a uniform, detailed look.
Keep working it until the powder is no longer visible in your hair. Be sure to do this on dry hair, as the product does not work on wet or moist hair. That’s all there is to it! It is that easy!

How much product do I get in a bottle of Space Dust?
When you get a bottle of Space Dust, you get a total of 20 grams! This is a decent offering compared to other hair volume powder products on the market. Many will come in 10g bottles or sometimes as low as 5g! Don’t worry if you think there’s a gap in the bottle. This is an intentional design so the texture powder comes out of the top easily instead of struggling to tip out of the bottle when it is too full.
Can I use Space Dust with other Crazy Bull hair products?
Yes! Our products work well together! If you want even more volume and texture in your style, we suggest using Bull Blaster Sea Salt Spray, which works as an ideal pre-styler or in addition to this product. We wrote an entire blog post about how the two products complement each other.
I would prefer a shiny finish, is Space Dust still the product for me?
In as many words, no. Space Dust is a volume powder that gives a matte finish. However, we have a styling pomade, Bull Blaster pomade, which will provide you with that shiny look with a strong hold. We recommend looking at that product and add to cart, once you’re happy to proceed.
Can I use the hair styling powder every day?
If you want to use our hair powder product daily, do so! It is formulated to be friendly to the hair and scalp, so even if you use it enthusiastically, it won’t harm your hair. However, we recommend washing your hair between applications.
Does hair powder wash out easily?
Well, we can’t speak for all our hair products. Space Dust is formulated to be easily removed from your hair. One of the benefits of being water-based is that it will simply wash out as part of your hair care routine. Why not use one of Crazy Bull’s shampoo products?!
Unfortunately, many mass-produced cheap hair powder products will dry your hair and eternally sit on your scalp, as they have unwanted adhesive qualities. These nasty formulations of hair powders should be avoided at all costs!
Does Space Dust need to be used on dry hair?
Yes. We can’t stress enough that the product will only work on dry hair. Applying it to damp hair will clump the product and provide an altogether unwanted experience. The product won’t be able to work, and you may have to wash your hair again. Applying it to dry hair will allow for the even distribution of the product and for the texture powder to work best.
